 Mac Apartment in Nairobi Kenya

 SantanderSantander - 2 x 1000kVA Used in New Containers
Two 1000KVA pre-owned Perkins powered generators are installed in brand new 40 foot acoustic containers.The project was carried out for Santander and the two generators are back up to main computer Uninterrupted Power Supplies.YelloGen were responsible for the supply and installation of the two units including all cabling and interfacing with the existing switchgear. The units are arranged for fully automatic Synchronising and load sharing and are fitted with complete new control systems.

Each generator has its individual control panel fitted with a Deep Sea Electronics automatic module model 5510. Fuel pump control, engine heaters and plant battery charger are also controlled from this panel. A 1600 automatic ACB is fitted in the lower section.

Main incoming circuit breaker with logic switching and separate load bank connection for testing purposes.This panel is installed in the main switchgear room and both 1000kva units feed into this breaker panel.

The whole project was completed within an eight week period from receipt of the order to final commissioning of the units. Final integration of the units and cable connections were carried out between 24.00 hours and 04.00 to minimise any downtown risk. The whole package was carried out in 2009 on a turnkey basis which even included the installation of the Armco Barriers.

Perkins

6 x 1875KVA Perkins Powered units supplied to Nigeria

One of six units supplied to a client in Nigeria. All the unit were upgraded with new control systems and full load tested prior to shipment.

Each unit was supplied with an individual step up 11,000 volt step up transformer so when installed the complete Power Station is rated at 9 megawatts.

YelloGen Ltd have just completed phase two of this project with the addition of a 1500KVA standby rated, Perkins powered unit.

Although this unit is a larger capacity 1500KVA is wast again was installed in a matching container for aesthetic purposes.

YelloGen were responsible for the a complete turn project including the sipply of a new Low Voltage Distribution board consisiting of a multibay panel with 5 air circuit breakers for generator input, load output and load bank connections.

The complete project was completed in a eight week period with the final switchboard connection being carried out between 24.00 hours and 04.00hrs on a weekend to minimise any risk power interuption
